Becky Lynch is eager for more fights.
In less than two weeks, Becky Lynch will face Nia Jax in what will be the two’s first-ever singles match on WWE’s main roster. Beyond that though, Lynch is also keen on wrestling some other women in the company. During a recent interview with Strutting From Gorilla, Lynch revealed which competitors she is particularly eager to square off with someday.
“One match that we haven’t gotten to yet is numero uno on the docket — I got to shut up Nia Jax first. We haven’t had that match, which is unbelievable to think at this stage that Nia Jax and I have never gone one-on-one in a WWE ring [on the main roster], but it’s true,” Lynch said. “Then there’s the next stop, which is taking that title off Rhea [Ripley]. When I hold that title, that title is the main event of every show. Now, her title has been seen in many main events, but not because she’s been defending it, no, just because she’s been the the accompaniment to the main events. I can’t have that, and I’m sick of that. I am sick of that and I’m gonna take that title back off her, preferably at WrestleMania.”
WWE NXT
In addition to Nia Jax and Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch hopes to tangle up with some opponents from the WWE NXT locker room as well — specifically Chase U’s Thea Hail.
“I got to spend some time at NXT and I got to look at who was coming up. Obviously, Lyra [Valkyria] is incredible. You have Tiffany Stratton who has shown a a huge amount of potential and then there’s other people that I’ve had my eye on,” Lynch said. “I think Thea Hail is somebody that I look forward to seeing how she progresses. She’s somebody that’s different. She’s got this this particular charisma about her that I really like, and that I really enjoy. So, I’m looking forward to one day stepping in the ring with her too.”
